Overwater Expeditions was created to host small-group fishing journeys in places that still feel wild and deeply connected to nature.
Rather than offering a large catalog of destinations, we focus on a small number of carefully chosen trips each year — places where local knowledge, thoughtful planning, and personal hosting create memorable experiences both on and off the water.
Your Host
Overwater Expeditions is hosted by Francisco — a professional guide with decades of experience leading anglers in diverse fishing destinations across several continents.

His career has taken him from the waters of West Africa to the rivers of Spain and the mountains of Montana, building the experience, local partnerships, and understanding that now shape Overwater Expeditions.
Francisco began guiding internationally in the late 1990s in Africa before later working throughout Europe and eventually settling in Montana in 2013.

Alongside his guiding career in the United States, he has spent years hosting small international fishing trips, gradually developing the collection of destinations that now form Overwater Expeditions.
Our Approach
Each journey is personally hosted and intentionally kept small to create a more relaxed, flexible, and connected experience on the water.
Rather than moving large numbers of anglers through destinations, we focus on thoughtfully organized trips where fishing, travel, and atmosphere all play an important role in the experience.
These journeys are designed for anglers who enjoy exploring new places, spending time on the water, and sharing the experience with a small group of like-minded travelers.
